Just because…

Just because you don’t believe in Him doesn’t mean that He doesn’t believe in you. To those of you who are lost and cannot find your way, I am here to tell you that He is here with open arms to love you and believe in you. Just because you have a bad day doesn’t mean you can’t have a good night. Just because you don’t feel loved doesn’t mean you aren’t. Just because someone says nice things doesn’t mean that they are a nice person, they could be lying to you. Just because someone says mean things doesn’t mean they are a mean person, they could just be having a bad day. Just because someone says I love you doesn’t mean they do. Just because someone doesn’t say I love you doesn’t mean they don’t, they could just not know how to express it. Just because something doesn’t go your way doesn’t mean that the world is out to get you. Just because someone is a former member of any organization doesn’t mean they are an expert. Just because you don’t believe it is true, doesn’t mean that it isn’t. Just because the sun generally rises doesn’t mean that it will tomorrow.

That is why it is so important to live your life with no regrets, because life doesn’t always turn out like we expect and you have to celebrate when it does. There is always a chance that despite the greatest of opposition, that miracles can come true and that wonderful things can happen in your life. Don’t give up and never give in to the people who say you can’t, most of the time they are jealous because you are trying something that they wish they had the courage to do. I think it is most important to love with all your heart regardless of your past.

I hope that someday when I have children that they will know what their father has overcome and that they too can overcome the obstacles that they face. I think this is how our Father in Heaven would want us to think. He loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son to sacrifice himself for us, so that we might live with him again. Heavenly Father asked his son to pay the price so that we wouldn’t have to, because there is no amount of currency that can pay our debt. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17) He sent his son so that we might be able to not hold on to the anger, the bitterness, the resentment, or guilt. He taught us how to live, love, and forgive. We should all try to be more like Jesus.
